Meet Ella

Name: Ella Stockley

Your role: Consultant, Business Continuity, Incident & Crisis Management

Region: Docklands, Victoria

What’s your story?

I started at NAB back in 2012 as a temp while studying at Monash University. I was lucky enough to land a permanent role and I haven’t looked back! Since starting with NAB I’ve worked in Operations, Quality Assurance, and Business Continuity Management supporting a range of areas.

How have you made a difference?

I hope I’ve made a difference by bringing a positive and personable attitude to work every day. I thrive off the energy of others so I always try to bring my best and whole self to work. It all comes down to culture and when you’re happy, engaged and always pushing harder, the people around you will respond positively to that. I have also made a difference to NAB’s response capability during the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) outages. Last year I worked with the Corporate and Institutional Market Operations team to make sure we have a strong and well prepared team.

What are you passionate about?

I’m passionate about people and change. People make or break a business and the enormous power that holds means that we should all be passionate about bringing out the best in each other. There is also so much happening at NAB at the moment that it’s hard not to be excited by all the great things on the horizon.
