Your role: Senior Associate, Portfolio, Customer and Insights
Region: Sydney, New South Wales
What’s your story?
I started working at NAB three years ago in the Graduate Program and am now currently working in the Corporate and Institutional banking division. Prior to NAB, I worked in a variety of jobs during high school, including fast food restaurants and the cinemas, and I had my first taste of corporate life working in a large scale organisation in audit during university. I’ve always enjoyed the customer-facing aspect of these roles so it made sense to work for a company where customers are our number one focus.
How have you made a difference?
I try to bring my best self to work every day. I enjoy helping my customers with anything, no matter how big or small and it gives me great satisfaction when I receive positive feedback about their experience. I also believe a positive working culture allows everyone to perform better as a team, so my passion to help customers also extends to colleagues as I enjoy sharing knowledge and coaching where possible.
What are you passionate about?
I have an interest in health and fitness and am an advocate for the importance of mental health. I believe mental health is important in being able to bring your best self to work, and to live a more meaningful life. I try and work on improving my mental health through daily mindfulness techniques, and I’m part of the working group for BeyondBlue (a charity that addresses issues associated with anxiety and depression) which was chosen by the NAB NSW Corporate and Institutional division to support.
