What’s your story?
With over 10 years of banking experience both in Australia and overseas, I'm driven by my genuine passion to provide tailored banking solutions to business customers with the sole aim of achieving their strategic financial goals. It gives me a great sense of joy and achievement to be a part of my customers' success. My African middle name is ‘Akoamah’ which means fighting for others with altruism. I naturally ‘fight’ for my customers to help them to achieve their goals.
How have you made a difference?
Over the years and through my banking experience, I have learnt that to deliver value to customers and make a difference to their business, it’s important to take the time to understand their business, first and foremost. This includes understanding their requests and causation and applying the requisite emotional intelligence to deliver results. The aforementioned should not be without cardinal principles such as honesty, integrity, managing expectations, and doing what you say you are going to do. I believe if we aim high from the start, all other benefits (e.g. sales) will naturally fall into place.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about having symbiotic relationships in whatever I do, including at home, work and when playing team sports. I believe it’s the cornerstone of every successful team and relationship.
