What’s your story?
You could call me a jack of all trades at UBank; I’ve had a great variety of different roles at UBank and NAB throughout my nine years here. I started in the call centre, then made the move into lending, then into managing and I became a facilitator for both UBank and NAB. Now, I’m proud to say that I’ve been a Change Analyst in UBank’s Digital Team for the last two years.
How have you made a difference?
Last year I was fortunate enough to be able to lead the implementation of ‘Thought Into Action’ and our Change process. We developed a structure where employees at UBank have a forum to contribute ideas and work on delivering them to the business at pace, while also delivering the right results by leveraging our own Change Council.
We developed the Change Council which was a mix of key SME’s across all teams and departments in UBank called Change Champions. Ideas could feed through the Change Council and all the right people are in the room to make it happen while also giving staff a chance to work on different initiatives.
What are you passionate about?
On a personal level, I like to challenge myself with things like Tough Mudder, City2Surf and multi-day Hiking. From a work perspective, I’m passionate about problem solving and giving our customers and bankers an exceptional experience. From my exposure to UBank’s digital team I’ve seen so much that we can do with technology, and this is a great time to be in change.
