What’s your story?
I live in Melbourne and work as a Home Loan Specialist at the Ivanhoe Branch in Melbourne. I have been told I am super determined and motivated. I see myself as a positive person who looks to get the most out of each day, and does not take no for an answer very often. Before starting at NAB in the call centre I was self-employed.
How have you made a difference?
I was recently able to achieve a successful outcome for a customer. The customer was newly self-employed and I worked tirelessly on an application to ensure I gave it the best opportunity possible. It did require sacrifice, working from home, the support of my business manager, working back and a great deal of persistence. I stuck with it mostly because I knew the stress the customer was feeling and I knew we should back him. It was all worth it, when I received a call from a very happy customer after they received a text confirming they had unconditional approval
What are you passionate about?
I am a banker by day and run my business on the side at night and on weekends. I am passionate about my clients whom I have built a strong rapport with; they have been with me since the first day of my business opening until now. I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work I take on, but remember if it was not for my clients and customers I would not be where I am today. This keeps me motivate. Needless to say when the weekend comes around I am more than happy to put my feet up with my partner and my puppy Mack.
