Shaun is passionate about problem solving.
Name: Jessica Haddad
Your role: Senior Analyst, Projects
Region: Docklands, Victoria
What’s your story?
My journey at NAB started in 2013 as an Industry Based Learning (IBL) student. I was fortunate enough to have been offered a permanent part-time position in 2014 so that I could complete my studies. I haven’t looked back since starting at NAB! I started my career as a Project Advisor and worked my way through to a Senior Project Analyst. Each year I set myself a goal and plan how I will achieve it with my People Leader. Once I achieve my goal I always look at setting a new one. I strongly believe everyone should have a goal (or two!), as it’s hard to have a vision without one. I am now working towards my next goal which is going into a Delivery role. Since joining NAB I have grown so much, both on a personal and professional level, and I am very appreciative of all the opportunities that I have had here. I look forward to many more opportunities in the future.
How have you made a difference?
I always put myself in the customers’ shoes; when there is an issue I take a step back so I can understand how the issue impacts the customer, and I look at who needs to be involved and what needs to happen to resolve the issue. I also really enjoy helping others and seeing people grow, so I’ve now offered to mentor IBL students and other new starters.
What are you passionate about?
I am very passionate about exercising and training regularly, so my day-to-day schedule must involve at least 45 minutes of exercise. I am passionate about helping people and working together as a team to get things done. I truly believe ‘team work makes dreams work’.
