What’s your story?
I came to Australia from the United States in 2008 as part of an audit and consulting firm. NAB was my first client and I was immediately attracted to the organisation’s attitudes towards our customers, community and employees. I’m just glad that NAB liked me as much as I liked them!
How have you made a difference?
Besides some of the work I’ve done with various Finance and Assurance teams over the last eight years, one of the recent initiatives that I’m proud of being involved with is helping run the NAB Skilled Offering Program. This program links NAB small business and not for profit customers with some of our passionate employees that have the professional skills that our customers need. I find it very inspiring to be able to reach out to our customers and be a small part in helping them to achieve their goals.
What are you passionate about?
I like being active as well as being involved in a number of small community organisations throughout Melbourne. Some of my favourites include Parkrun, a free weekly timed 5k run for people of all fitness levels and the St. Silas Sunday Suppers programme that helps people in need in the Albert Park area.
