What’s your story?

I started my career in professional services, working in the advisory practice and specialised in IT assurance. I moved to NAB in order to further my career development, increase my knowledge in financial services, and seek ways to add value to the organisation by utilising the risk management and assurance skills I had gained in my previous role. This led me to the Internal Audit team where I had the opportunity to work on some key internal reviews that had a strong customer focus. The reviews offered me an insight into how my work could improve a customer’s experience through their interaction with NAB’s products and services. This motivated me to seek a role that would allow me to further improve our customers’ experience with NAB. I fulfilled this objective when I was fortunate enough to get a position in the Customer Experience, Strategy and Planning team. This role allows me to combine my passion for improving customer experience with witnessing the tangible and positive impacts that the work I am involved in has on our customers.

How have you made a difference?

Over the last year I’ve been working with a number of stakeholders across the business to share key insights around the moments that matter most to our customers. The aim of this project is to help the teams at NAB better understand what is most important to our customers when they are designing initiatives and prioritising their work. We achieved this by partnering with both projects and business units in their endeavours to address gaps in customer experience by focusing on key advocacy drivers.

What are you passionate about?

I’m passionate about supporting people and finding ways to have a positive impact on them, both at work and in their personal lives. I love spending time with my family and friends and helping them if there is ever a need. On a lighter note, I love seeing live music and travelling to new and interesting places around the world.
