Name: Kieran Lunt
Your role: Consultant, Change, Enablement & Transformation
Region: Docklands, Victoria
What’s your story?
I was born and bred in Melbourne, the city that I love. I’ve been with NAB for 13 years, having started in the call centre working with merchant facilities. I quickly moved into business banking where I supported small to medium businesses across a number of different roles. For the last eight years, I have been in a leadership position within the Operations team who support and assist our business bankers in the lending assessment of our business customers.
How have you made a difference?
Having gained plenty of experience and knowledge in business banking, my focus is to make things easier and simpler for bankers who service our customers. This in turn fosters a better customer experience. Through leadership roles, I’ve supported a number of team members to go outside their comfort zone and have helped them with their career aspirations. I have created a collaborative environment for my team members, who are encouraged to challenge each other (and me!) on how we could do things better for our customers.
What are you passionate about?
Spending time with my family, friends and two ragdoll cats, Linkin & Charlie, are the main things that I’m passionate about. I support the Collingwood Football Club and Melbourne Storm rugby team, and if neither of my teams are playing I’m off trying to find some great coffee or special whisky around Melbourne. In recent years, I’ve challenged myself to try new experience including, taking up different sporting activities, travelling to new places, exploring the back streets of Melbourne, and trying new foods.
