Meet Rebecca

Name: Rebecca McFarlane

Your role: Banking Adviser

Region: Armidale, New South Wales

What’s your story?

Finance is my bread and butter! I was with another bank for almost seven years before joining NAB over three years ago. I was originally employed as a teller when I started at NAB but progressed to a customer advisor sales role, enabling me to strengthen my passion for customers and connect with them on a deeper and more personal level. Building strong relationships with our clients is very important to me.

How have you made a difference?

Mindset is the biggest thing for me. I once heard a quote that read, “If you only worked on the days you feel good, there would be very few days you work.” – this is my mantra! No matter how you feel, you need to give your best. At the end of the day, our clients deserve 110% of our time and effort. My aim is to build team skills, not only at a retail level but within the broader organisation by strategising with our business banking and agribusiness teams.

What are you passionate about?

Passion is what drives individuals, teams and a business as a whole. Our customers are the heart and soul of our business. My passion is assisting my clients with their needs and objectives for the future. If you do your job well and can look after each and every client that comes your way, future business and advocacy will happen naturally! This is the most rewarding part of my job and I love that I am able to help my clients to achieve their goals.
