What’s your story?

I joined NAB as a temp in 2012. I was new to the country and wanted to continue with banking as that was the path I’d planned to further my career. After a few months I knew that I wanted to stay at NAB and worked towards getting a permanent position. From day one I understood that as a team member I needed to focus on and follow the team’s process – no questions asked. I was curious about our process and I wanted to find out how we could do things differently. Since then I have gone on to become a team leader and had the opportunity to lead five different teams. This has given me many opportunities to improve and develop our people as well as how we service our customers.

How have you made a difference?

I value the people I work with and making myself available to my peers. I believe that when you invest in your people you will always have their buy-in. I always strive to be an influencer and have learned to turn a ‘mess’ into a ‘message’. I like to share my experiences so I can share what I’ve learnt.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about getting the basics right. Always ensure the customer is kept informed and updated. I look at every customer as being special. Take ownership and keep your word.
