What’s your story?

I’ve been with NAB for six years. I started as a cards trained banker in Direct Consumer back in 2012 in Rhodes, Sydney and worked my way up from there. In 2014 I moved to Melbourne for six months and continued to work in Direct Consumer in Docklands and Knox. After the six months I returned to Sydney and was successful in a role with International Payments. I worked with International Payments for about six months and then returned to Direct Consumer, during the restructure, where I worked with the Cards Investigation and Internet Banking Support teams. I continued to work with these teams when I was successful in getting a role with Help Hub and then moving on to become a Proficiency Hub Specialist.

I am now a Team Leader and I'm loving every bit of my journey so far. For me this is just the beginning and I look forward to many more years at NAB. So much of the time in our lives is spent at work, you have to love what you do and I love everything about NAB Direct Consumer; the culture, the people, my teams, my colleagues and what we do every day for our customers.

How have you made a difference?

I have made a difference at NAB during my time in the Help Hub team. Being in Help Hub means I am able to help and inspire my peers to deliver a great customer experience. It has allowed me to challenge myself and think outside the box, and this is something I encourage my peers to do each day that I help them support our customers. I have been able to give my peers confidence and support so they can stretch themselves.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about helping people grow and develop. This is why I feel very fortunate about being part of the Help Hub team in Rhodes, and now taking on my next step in becoming a leader so I can continue to do this each and every day. I love when I see my peers progress and move into roles they have been working hard to get into for some time. Being a part of that is what motivates me and why I am passionate about the growth and development of others. Ohhh and food, I love food!
