What’s your story?
I started at NAB almost seven years ago with a practical vision to use my Commerce degree. However, I quickly discovered my passion for delivering impactful customer experiences which ultimately directed my career in leading people within the contact centre.
How have you made a difference?
As a people leader, I am so privileged to be in a position that allows me to lead and inspire people every day. Since returning back to work from maternity leave, I was driven to show that you can be a working parent who pushes the boundaries, leaping out of your comfort zone and achieving success both at work but also on the home front too. This attitude allowed me to back one of my team members who was struggling with work life balance. I encouraged her to take on an exciting new opportunity that allowed her to be more flexible with her time at work so that she could be there for her son’s extra-curricular activities. This allowed her more quality time spent with her family but also reignited her spark at work and, in turn, has allowed her to achieve great success in her role.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about my growing family. There is something so innocent and inspiring about watching a two year old explore the intricacies of the world we live in, that you find yourself regaining perspective and appreciating the small things that can sometimes get lost in the hustle and bustle of life.
