She’s passionate about supporting women to reach their leadership potential.
Name: Tamara Potter
Your role: Branch Manager, Murray Bridge, South Australia
Region: Murray Bridge, South Australia
What’s your story?
I am 29 and one of eight kids from Strathalbyn, SA but started my NAB Journey in Tuggeranong, ACT. In almost 10 years with NAB I have moved around a bit, however now find myself back in SA where I am also player/coach of the Sunny Murray Bridge football team. I started as a part time customer adviser and have worked in many different roles at NAB across the ACT, NSW and SA. I have always wanted to be a leader and to inspire others to be the best version of themselves. So when the opportunity came up in Feb 2017 to lead this team I couldn’t say no! We are a small team but are very driven to be successful and work together to be the best we can.
How have you made a difference?
I feel like I have made a difference at NAB by being an open and honest team player. I am willing to help anyone whenever I can and I am passionate about our customers and doing the right thing by them. I have made a difference to my team’s engagement as I love looking for new ways to get the outcomes we need to thrive. I am keen to always learn more in the mindset space, and as big Simon Sinek fan, I always try to start with the ‘why’.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about helping our customers’ dreams and goals become reality for them. I love seeing the reaction of someone being approved for their new home or to build their dream ‘forever’ home for their family. At home I am a passionate horse rider. I love show jumping, eventing, racing or even just a casual stroll on Sunday with friends at the beach or forest.
