Eligibility criteria

Buyers may only apply to participate in the NAB Escrow Service upon invitation from a seller. Please note that as a NAB Escrow buyer, you are acquiring services from the seller and do not become NAB’s customer.

For individuals

To be eligible to become a NAB Escrow buyer, you must confirm you:

  • Are an individual
  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Have a valid mobile phone number and email address.

For businesses (sole traders, partnerships and companies)

To be eligible to become a NAB Escrow buyer, you must confirm you:

  • Are a business entity operating in Australia
  • Are not a limited partnership or limited incorporated partnership
  • Have a valid mobile phone number and email address.

Please complete the NAB Escrow Service – Buyer Application Form for business entities (PDF, 336KB).

For a company, you must nominate a Buyer Delegate to represent the company and receive all communications in relation to the NAB Escrow Service.

For a partnership, please complete the NAB Escrow Service Master Authority Form for partnerships (PDF, 434KB) which authorises each partner to enter into the NAB Escrow Service as a Buyer representing the partnership, before initial application for the NAB Escrow Service.

For trustees

To be eligible to become a NAB Escrow buyer, you must confirm you:

  • Are a sole corporate trustee of a trust, or an individual trustee of a trust with no more than four trustees
  • Have a valid mobile phone number and email address.

Please complete the NAB Escrow Service – Buyer Application Form for trustees (PDF, 292KB).

For a corporate trustee or multiple individual trustees, you must nominate a Buyer Delegate to represent the Buyer and receive all communications in relation the NAB Escrow Service.
