Award recognises leadership in small business banking

For the third year in a row, NAB has been awarded global recognition as the Best Small Business Bank in Australia as part of the Digital Banker’s 2025 Global SME Banking Innovation Awards.

NAB Small Business Executive Krissie Jones said the award demonstrated the bank’s commitment to its small business customers.

“This award is shared by the thousands of NAB colleagues who support the more than 766,000 small business customers that bank with us,” Ms Jones said.

“The strength of our customer relationships is at the heart of being the best small business bank in Australia and rests with our bankers who deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions.

“Winning this award for the third year in a row reflects the hard work and commitment of our colleagues, and our dedication to supporting our customers to grow and thrive.

NAB is a trusted partner to more than 766,000 SMEs across the country with thousands of small business banking colleagues to meet their needs.

The continued success of NAB’s Small Business Bank is built on a foundation of innovative initiatives and a customer-centric approach. Over the past year, NAB has launched several products and services that continue to change the game for small businesses.

“Whether it’s digital business lending to give small businesses faster access to funding to keep their business growing or NAB Bookkeeper saving small business owners time by automating bookkeeping and administrative tasks, we’re constantly innovating,” Ms Jones said.

“Our strategy is centred around supporting our customers, our commitment to being a partner for small businesses and providing the support and resources they need to meet challenges and seize opportunities.

“This award is not just a recognition of our continued efforts but a celebration of the strong relationships we’ve built with customers that are the foundation to help them to grow and succeed.

NAB’s continued success in the Global SME Banking Innovation Awards underscores its position as Australia’s biggest business bank and dedication to being the most customer-centric company in Australia and New Zealand.
