Statement on the passing of former NAB CEO Nobby Clark

The National Australia Bank Board and Management note the passing of former NAB Group CEO Neil 'Nobby' Clark. 

NAB Group CEO Andrew Irvine said:

 “We acknowledge with sadness the passing of Neil ‘Nobby’ Clark, former NAB CEO.

“Nobby dedicated decades to the bank, beginning his career in 1946 with the National Bank of Australasia which became NAB in 1981. He later served as Chief Executive from 1985 to 1990, helping to strengthen the bank’s foundations.

"He was deeply connected to the bank and took immense pride in its journey and achievements.

“We extend our condolences to his family and former colleagues.”
