A new way to collect flybuys points
We’re discontinuing the NAB flybuys Rewards Card and will be replacing yours with a NAB Rewards Platinum Card with no change to your annual fee . Your new card will continue to let you collect flybuys points.
Introducing NAB Rewards
Get ready for even more chances to collect flybuys points. With access to the NAB Rewards program, opens in new window, you can earn NAB Rewards Points for everyday purchases , and double and triple points with our Points Booster program .
Once a month, we’ll automatically transfer the NAB Rewards Points you’ve earned to flybuys points and apply them to your flybuys account. You’ll receive 1 flybuys point for every 1 NAB Rewards Point.
How do I earn Rewards Points?
Earn points on your everyday transactions and there is no limit to the amount of points you can earn each month.
NAB Rewards Points per $1
Earn 1 NAB Rewards Point for every $1 you spend on everyday purchases.
Earn more on Groceries
Earn 1.5 NAB Rewards Points in eligible Grocery stores.
Earn more with Webjet
Earn 2 NAB Rewards Points on purchases made online with Webjet via NAB Rewards Store or on Webjet.com.au, opens in new window.
What's changing?
- You’ll start earning NAB Rewards Points for every dollar you spend on everyday purchases once we issue your new cards.
- Your NAB Rewards Points will be automatically transferred to flybuys points and applied to your flybuys account once a month.
- You’ll be able to earn bonus NAB Rewards Points when shopping at certain stores and your points will no longer be capped.
- Your flybuys points will no longer be shown on your credit card statement and you’ll receive a monthly NAB Rewards Points statement instead.
- Your additional cardholder will receive a new card with a new card number, expiry date and Card Verification Value (CVV).
What’s staying the same?
- Your new card will have the same card number, expiry date and CVV.
- Your annual card fee and interest rates remain the same.
- Up to 44 days interest free on purchases.
- Any existing direct debits or automatic payments will be transferred to your new card.
- Your monthly statement payment dates remain the same.
- Any linked accounts – like your savings or cheque account – will stay linked.
- Continued access to seven complimentary insurances including Overseas Travel Insurance and Purchase Protection Insurance.
- Any NAB Credit Card Cover arrangements you have on your account will remain.
Getting and using your new NAB Rewards Platinum Card

If you need to change the address where your new card will be delivered, just call our dedicated team on 13 37 68 from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 7:00pm (AEST/AEDT), Saturday to Sunday, 9:00am to 6:00pm (AEST/AEDT). You can also update your details using the NAB app or via NAB Internet Banking.

If you need a new PIN, we'll provide you with instructions on how to set your PIN when you receive your new NAB Rewards Platinum Card.

The change will happen automatically, so just start using your new card when it arrives. Should you feel that the NAB Rewards Platinum Card is not suitable for your needs, please contact us on 13 37 68 to discuss other options.

Your existing NAB flybuys Rewards Card will work for 60 days after your new NAB Rewards Platinum Card arrives, or until you use your new card in-store - whichever happens first.
During the 60-day period, any eligible purchases made on your NAB flybuys Rewards Card will earn NAB Rewards Points. When you receive your new NAB Rewards Platinum Card, please destroy your NAB flybuys Rewards Card, by cutting through the chip and strip.

You'll receive a final account statement for your NAB flybuys Rewards Card account, in line with your existing statement cycle.
Any statements from your NAB flybuys Rewards Card will remain available in NAB Internet Banking and can be accessed, by selecting Accounts from the menu bar, then ‘Account Statements’. You can also view the last two years of statements in the NAB app by selecting Accounts, clicking on your NAB Rewards Platinum Card and then selecting 'Statements'.

To view transactions, simply click on the Account summary under your new NAB Rewards Platinum Card account number in the NAB app or NAB Internet Banking.
All your NAB flybuys Rewards Card and NAB Rewards Platinum Card transactions will be listed up to the most current statement issued

To keep you updated on how many points you’ve earned, we’ll regularly email a NAB Rewards Points statement to you. If you haven’t already provided us with your email address you can do so in the NAB app or via NAB Internet Banking.
You can also check your points balance anytime by following these steps:
- Log into the NAB app or NAB Internet Banking.
- Select Cards in the NAB app or in NAB Internet Banking.
- Choose your NAB Rewards Card to see your total points balance displayed under NAB Rewards points balance.

You can use many digital payment methods to make purchases, including with a smartphone or wearable device.

Choose to switch on or off the ability to make contactless payments, ATM cash advances, or online and overseas transactions on your card. You can easily do this in the NAB app or via NAB Internet Banking.

If you’ve set up NAB Alerts for payment reminders or balance updates, they will continue on your new NAB Rewards Signature Card. Your additional cardholder can set up NAB Alerts in NAB Internet Banking under Profile & Settings.

If you’d prefer to use your NAB Rewards Points for a range of other rewards from the NAB Rewards Store, you can opt out of the automatic transfer once your new card is issued. To opt out, visit the NAB Rewards Store or call us on 13 22 65 – we’re available Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 8:00pm (AEST/AEDT).
