CHECK YOUR EMAIL

If you’ve applied online, check your email inbox or your secure messages for a confirmation email to inform we’ve received your application. We’ll then start assessing your application, and call you if we need to check any details. Otherwise, you’ll receive an email from us within two business days about your application outcome.

CONDITIONAL APPROVAL

We'll send you an email and SMS to let you know if your loan has been conditionally approved - this means it's been approved subject to verifying the information in your application is correct. We’ll also inform your conditionally approved interest rate and repayment amount.

VERIFY YOUR APPLICATION

At this stage we’ll be checking things like payslips or employment to confirm your application details. We’ll contact you to let you know what documents you need to provide. As long as the information you've provided in your application is accurate, your loan will be approved. Find out more about the types of verification documents you may need to provide.

Once your loan is approved, we’ll go ahead and prepare your loan documents

LOAN DOCUMENTS

Your loan documents usually take one business day to prepare after we've approved your loan. You can easily review and sign your loan documents online in My applications via Internet Banking.

If you’re a new customer, you'll need to visit a branch to confirm your identify to satisfy an AUSTRAC 100-point check. You can do this at any of one of the application stages.

Once these steps are complete, your funds will be deposited into your NAB account or provided to you as bank cheque(s).
