Avoid branch queues
Follow a few simple instructions to make depositing a cheque quick and easy.
Log into the NAB app on your device.
Tap the menu icon in the top left-hand corner.
Tap Cheque deposit from the menu list.
A series of tips will appear, tap Skip tour to close them.
Choose the account to receive the cheque deposit.
Enter the amount of the cheque.
Tap Scan front of cheque.
A message will appear requesting for access to your camera, tap Ok, got it to proceed.
Hold your phone above the front of the cheque to auto scan.
Tap Scan back of cheque.
Hold your phone above the back of the cheque to auto scan.
Review the details, and tap Confirm cheque deposit.
Your cheque deposit has now been completed.
The funds may take up to three business days to clear.
