What is NAB Budgets?
Budgets is an expense tracking tool in the NAB app and NAB Internet Banking that helps you manage your money. You can create a budget for a variety of different expenses, including essential household bills.
Budgets helps you track your spending against your budgeted amount. By creating a realistic budget and tracking your spending, you can avoid over spending. This helps you hit your financial goals faster.

Getting started with Budgets
Internet Banking
- Log into NAB Internet Banking.
- Select Spending from the menu.
- Select Budgets.
- Select create budgets.
- Ensure you have an eligible account and select one or more accounts to track.
- Set the frequency of your budget and the start date.
- Select the categories you would like to set a budget on.
- Set a budget amount.
- Tap create a budget
NAB App
- Log into the NAB App.
- Tap more.
- Tap Spending.
- Tap Budgets.
- Tap create budgets.
- Ensure you have an eligible account and select one or more accounts to track.
- Set the frequency of your budget and the start date.
- Select the categories you would like to set a budget on.
- Set a budget amount.
- Tap create a budget.
Deleting a budget in the NAB app
Internet Banking
- Log into NAB Internet Banking.
- Select Spending from the menu.
- Select Budgets.
- Tap selected category.
- Tap Remove budget.
- Tap Done.
NAB App
- Log into the NAB app.
- Tap More.
- Select Spending from the menu.
- Select Budgets.
- Tap selected category.
- Tap Remove budget.
- Tap Done.
