Sacred Heart Mission is an organisation that assists people experiencing homelessness or living in poverty to find shelter, food, care and support to rebuild their lives.

Sacred Heart Mission

Our employees have been volunteering at the Sacred Heart Mission dining hall, op shops and other skilled volunteering projects since they opened in 1982. Most recently, in a Victorian first, we’ve supported the partnership with the Victorian Government on a social financing structure. This structure aims to break the cycle of homelessness for 180 people in the next five years.

Since 2002, we’ve contributed over 1.3 million hours and $57m through volunteering. We’re proud that our program is one of the largest volunteering programs in Australia and our people continue to serve the communities in which they live.
