How to use tokens in Virtual Terminal

NAB Gateway Virtual Terminal allows tokenized payments to be made using stored token details.

Here’s how to get started:

1. Sign into the NAB Gateway portal.
2. From the left navigation panel, select ‘Token Management’.
3. Select ‘Customers’.
4. Search for a customer using the filters.
5. Select the Token ID link to take you to the Customer Details page.
6. Select the Token ID link for the Billing Details for the customer.
7. Select ‘Make Payment’ button.
8. Click ‘Proceed’ on the payment pop up box.
9. The One Time Payment screen will show with customer details pre-populated.
10. Enter payment amount.
11. If a surcharge is required, this will need to be manually calculated and the value entered (any surcharge must not exceed your cost of acceptance for the transaction). Learn more about compliant surcharging at Reserve Bank of Australia surcharging standard.
    Note: The Calculate Surcharge button will not work on Virtual Terminal token payments
12. Click ‘Submit’.
