Executive – Asset Servicing
John has more than 30 years of diverse experience across a variety of banking and finance roles, including 22 years at NAB. In April 2016, John was appointed Executive NAB Asset Servicing after serving as Chief Risk Officer, Product & Markets since 2013.
Prior to this, John was Executive General Manager – Financial Institutions Group and International Branches, responsible for relationships with domestic and global financial institutions (Banks, Diversified Financials, Funds and Insurance companies) and Wholesale Banking’s offshore branches in New York and London.
In early 2008, John was appointed Head of Structuring and Investments for Wholesale Banking where John was responsible for Syndications and Agency, Securitisation, Portfolio Management, Structured Transactions and Private Capital. Prior to this, John was Wholesale Banking’s Chief Financial Officer for six years.
John’s previous roles have included Global Head of Taxation for the NAB Group where he was responsible for providing input into the Group’s Corporate Structure, M&A activities and capital management initiatives. John joined National Australia Bank from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he worked for six years in various senior taxation roles.
John is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has completed the Advanced Management Leadership Program at Harvard University.
