Information on NAB home loan rate changes and support for customers
Following the Reserve Bank of Australia's decision to increase the official cash rate by 0.25% per annum, NAB will increase its variable home loan interest rates by 0.25% p.a.
The new rates will take effect from 13 November 2026.
NAB Group Executive Personal Banking, Ana Marinkovic said NAB remained focused on helping customers manage higher living costs, including their mortgage repayments.
"We know another rate increase will be tough for some homeowners,” Ms Marinkovic said.
"For customers with a mortgage, these increases add up. We're encouraging people to take a fresh look at their repayments and household budget.
"If things are getting tight, please don't wait until you're struggling to make a repayment. Talk to us early so we can understand your circumstances and look at how we can help."
Customers can access a range of tools and support options through NAB, including budgeting tools, repayment flexibility and tailored hardship support.
NAB also regularly reviews its savings and deposit rates.
Three options available to homeowners:
- Use NAB's home loan calculator to understand what the change could mean for your repayments.
- Speak with a NAB banker about your loan and available options.
- Customers experiencing financial difficulty can contact NAB Care on 1800 701 599.
Notes
- This change applies to NAB standard variable home loan rates.
