NAB invests $2m to refurbish Hervey Bay branch

• Refurbished branch to open in November. 

NAB is continuing its investment in Queensland's branch network, with its Hervey Bay branch to receive a $2 million refurbishment. 

The branch will temporarily close from 21 September and will reopen in mid-November following the upgrade.

The project is the latest in NAB’s Queensland branch and business centre investment program, following upgrades in Roma, Atherton, Castletown and Millmerran. Approximately $10 million has been invested across the state over the past four months.

NAB Executive Retail Queensland Peter Atkins said the investment recognised the important role branches continue to play.

"People want choice in how they bank, and for many Queenslanders that still includes sitting down face-to-face for life's bigger financial moments," Mr Atkins said. 

"Whether someone's buying a home, planning for retirement, growing a business or navigating a change in circumstances, having the option to talk things through with an experienced banker can make a real difference."
