NAB opens $1.7m Coomera branch to back Gold Coast growth

NAB has opened a brand-new $1.7 million full-service branch at Westfield Coomera today, backing the fast-growing Gold Coast with modern banking services and personal support. 

The new Coomera branch is designed to give locals more choice and convenience, combining digital tools with face-to-face expertise at a time when many banks are scaling back their physical presence. 

NAB Retail Executive QLD Peter Atkins said: 

“While some banks are withdrawing from the idea of branches and in-person service, we’re leaning in. 
 
“Whether it’s a quick transaction or a deeper conversation about life’s big decisions, we want our branches to be places where customers feel supported. 

“As the Gold Coast experiences one of its biggest infrastructure booms, with billions invested in transport, health, and community projects, NAB is investing in local banking services to support residents and businesses through this exciting period of transformation.” 

The new Coomera branch includes: 

• A dedicated team of four bankers, a home lending specialist, and a business banker. 

• A self-service lobby with coin deposit machine and two Smart ATMs, including a Business Express Machine. 

• An open-plan format with digital education area and private appointment rooms with Zoom access. 

• Convenient 2-hours free parking at Westfield Coomera. 

Coomera Branch Manager Sheree White said:

NAB’s investment in Coomera is part of a broader $13 million uplift to its Queensland branch network, including branch upgrades and extended trading hours at a number of locations across the state.
