And, we’re working on removing and reducing even more. We want to make our products and services easier to understand, with greater transparency so you know exactly what you’re paying for.

Personal banking fees we’ve removed

  • Cashing of NAB cheque by NAB customer
  • Cashing of other bank’s cheque by NAB customer
  • Garnishee fee
  • Ongoing garnishee fee
  • Credit transfer to another NAB branch – Customer
  • Credit transfer to another NAB branch – Non-customer
  • Funds transfer fee – Facsimile request
  • Search fee (Titles Office) carried out by NAB staff
  • Search fee (Titles Office) carried out by search firm
  • Charges where Uncertificated Shares Provided as Security Under CHESS (Clearing House Electronic Sub-Register System). All fees are GST inclusive. Establishment of Sponsorship and Holder Identification Number (HIN), upon lodgement of a single line of shares into the Mortgagor’s HIN
    • Securities valued at up to $500,000
    • Securities valued above $500,000
    • Additional lines of security lodged at establishment
    • Statement of holdings
    • Statement of transactions
    • TFN lodgement
    • Takeover acceptance

  • Unregistered Foreign Entities (Company or Business name searches)
  • Charges where Uncertificated Shares Provided as Security Under CHESS (Clearing House Electronic Sub-Register System). All fees are GST inclusive. Establishment of Sponsorship and Holder Identification Number (HIN), upon lodgement of a single line of shares into the Mortgagor’s HIN

    • Lodging scrip for conversion
    • Obtaining transmission receipts
    • Splitting of certificates
  • Short term money market transactions
    • Settlements in respect of lodgement or withdrawal of funds from official or unofficial market

Personal banking fees we’ve reduced

  • NAB Private Portfolio annual package fee is $550
  • NAB Private Tailored annual package fee is $395
  • International cheques or drafts – issued
    • The refund, reissue and repurchase fees have been combined into one single fee and the total amount has been reduced to $20.
