Things to know about Smart Receipts

  • With Slyp Smart Receipt technology, opens in new window and the NAB app you can easily access digital receipts.
  • Slyp Smart Receipts are delivered straight to the NAB app when you pay with your smartphone or watch at participating retailers, opens in new window.
  • The receipt will be a digital version of a traditional tax receipt stored in the NAB app – saving you from faded or lost receipts and unnecessary paper.
  • You can easily search and filter Smart Receipts in the NAB app by merchant, location, or amount – helping you manage expenses, warranties, and tax time.
  • You can also use the NAB app to share Smart Receipts with others.

Steps to set up digital Smart Receipts

Use the NAB app on your preferred device to set-up digital receipts.

  1. Log into the NAB app on your device.

  2. Tap Receipts in the more menu.

  3. Read through to see how Smart Receipts can help you. Tap Next to proceed.

  4. To access Smart Receipts, you’ll need to share anonymised data with Slyp Scroll down for information on this feature.

  5. Tap Next to confirm sharing.

  6. Use the toggle bar next to your card to start saving your Slyp Smart Receipts. Tap Done when you’re finished.

  7. A confirmation screen will display confirming your data sharing options have been saved.
    Your receipts will now automatically load into the NAB app with participating merchants. Tap the demo receipt to see how Smart Receipts will look. 

Steps to search for digital Smart Receipts

Use the NAB app on your preferred device to find your Smart Receipts.

  1. Log into the NAB app on your device.

  2. If using iOS, tap More. If using Android, tap the three dots for more options.

  3. Tap Receipts.

  4. Tap Search receipts.

  5. Enter a key word relating to the receipt you would like to view. You can also refine the search range and amount.

  6. Results will show. Tap the receipt you would like to view.

  7. The full receipt will display. Scroll down for returns information, open hours, and more information.

  8. Tap the three dots in the top right corner for more options.

  9. Here you can manage labels, share and delete a receipt.
