Getting started
Activating online statements and letters
Activating online statements and letters is simple. Reduce your paper waste and easily view your banking statements and letters anytime. If you have a joint account, both account holders will need to follow these steps in order to receive online statements and letters.
Online statements
Follow our simple step-by-step guide to online statements in NAB Internet Banking or the NAB app.
Online letters
We want to make it easier for you to keep track of the information we need to send you from time to time. Some of the letters relating to your account/s will start to be delivered to you in NAB Internet Banking, instead of in the post.
To turn on Online letters simply log in to NAB Internet Banking and follow these steps:
- Under Profile & Settings
- Go to My details screen
- Select the Contact details section
- Click on the Edit link, then tick the Send me electronic communications about my products and services box
View and download statements and letters online
Viewing and downloading statements and letters online is easy simply follow these steps.

Online letters
To view and download your letters log in to NAB Internet Banking and follow these steps:
- Under Profile & Settings
- Make your way to the Letters screen. From here, you’ll be able to save or print your letters.

Which email address will be used for letter notifications?
We’ll use the one captured in the My details section of NAB Internet Banking, so it’s important you ensure it is current.

How will I know when I've been sent a new letter?
We’ll send you an email notification to let you know.
Note: If multiple letters are issued on the same day, we’ll send you only one email notification to ensure we don’t overload your mailbox.
What if I want to keep receiving postal letters?
If you’d like us to post your letters to you, simply log in to NAB Internet Banking and follow these steps:
- Go to the My details screen
- Select the Contact Details section
- Click on the Edit link, then un-tick the Send me electronic communications about my products and services box.
Note: In addition to being posted to you, an electronic copy will still be available for you to view in your NAB Internet Banking mailbox.
