Make sure you’ve opted into to online-only statements and letters for all your NAB accounts, and check your email address is correct so that we can notify you when a new statement or letter is available. Learn how to access your online statements and letters.

Different types of statements

Here are the different types of statements you can access in online banking.

Account statements

An account statement is a summary of all the transactions on your account during a specific time period.

Proof of balance statements

A proof of balance statement shows your current account balance. You might need this when you apply for a home loan or for Centrelink payments.

Interest statements

An interest statement shows how much interest you’ve earned on your account. You might use this when lodging your tax return.

Closed account statements

A closed account statement is the final statement of an account you’ve closed and no longer have access to.

Recent transactions

In online banking, you can download a PDF summary of your recent transactions. This isn’t a statement, just a report of recent activity on your account.
