What we look for in a Technology graduate
We’re reimagining how we do tech at NAB and we’re looking for innovators, dynamic disrupters and ambitious leaders to help us deliver. We’re looking for graduates who love to solve problems by writing code and designing software systems. Our graduates have a curiosity about technology and a personal commitment to continuous learning and development.
You’ll need to have studied a major in technology to be eligible for this program in conjunction with one of the below degrees:

What you’ll do in Technology
Technology at NAB is a large and varied department that can give you the opportunity to use your and improve your technical skills. We’re currently looking for Engineering and Technical Analyst talent to come onboard.
Engineering graduates
As an Engineering graduate, this is the type of work you’ll be involved in:
- Work with Technical Analysts to analyse business processes, procedures and user requirements to establish system requirements.
- Develop solutions and specifications so that agreed requirements can be converted into functional systems.
- Work in Agile teams to write user stories, write code and participate in system design including the production of system and program documentation as well as ongoing maintenance.
- Achieve key stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle such as quantity, timing and quality of all aspects of work allocated.
- You’ll have premium access to development learning platforms where you can upskill and improve your technical skills
- Be involved in hackathons that provide real life experience and value for our customers and clients.
Technical Analyst graduates
As a Technical Analyst graduate, this is the type of work you’ll be involved in:
- Work with various stakeholders to analyse business processes, procedures and user requirements in order to establish system requirements.
- Develop solutions and specifications so that agreed requirements can be converted into functional systems.
- Be involved in project delivery, successful implementation and ongoing process improvement.
- Achieve key stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle such as quantity, timing and quality of all aspects of work allocated.
- You will have premium access to development learning platforms where you can upskill and improve your technical skills
- Be involved in hackathons that provide real life experience and value for our customers and clients.
Where Technology can take you
Our graduate program is designed to develop the foundations for our leading technical talent. You’ll enhance your understanding of software engineering principles and how they apply in our enterprise environments. Once you have successfully completed the graduate program, you can expect to transition into an Engineer, Associate, Business Analyst role or similar.
