Meet Angela

Name: Angela Tomazos

Your role: Managing Partner, Northern Territory

Region: Darwin, Northern Territory

What’s your story?

I was born in Darwin in the Northern Territory and have lived here all my life. Fast forward four decades and I am part of a large extended family that have all remained in Darwin. We have strong community and business ties and are very proud to part of the Darwin story having survived Cyclone Tracey back in 1974. I’m a proud local leader for NAB with a career spanning over 28 years.

How have you made a difference?

I am dedicated to my customers and representing the voice of my community by raising the profile of the amazing opportunities in our town. I am actively involved in our community with projects to empower women, such as advocating for gender parity for women on boards and in leadership.

What are you passionate about?

I’m a strong believer in supporting those that support you. Our town has so much to offer and we are a community that embraces diversity and inclusion. I am grateful for the team I work with every day. They are dynamic and energetic and we share a common purpose to help our community and customers. I am passionate about enabling and encouraging women’s economic empowerment. I joined the National Executive for Business and Professional Women (BPW) that gives me the opportunity to act for women. With my work in this group, I have been able to join an extended network of women across the globe with BPW International Federation.
