What’s your story?
After finishing university, NAB backed me and saw my potential by offering me a place in the 2015 graduate program. At NAB, I have worked in diverse and fascinating teams from environmental sustainability to business improvement. My interest in the fast-evolving industry of payments led me to my current role in payment products. I now get to support NAB customers by ensuring we are launching great products and providing great customer experiences.
How have you made a difference?
I am very community-minded and growing I spent most weekends supporting local revegetation programs. I was eventually inspired to complete my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award and undertake some adventures around the world including volunteering as an English teacher in a remote village in Timor-Leste and to the shores of Hudson Bay to study polar bears and conservation in Canada. With so many stories to share from my volunteering, I started writing for the Commonwealth Correspondent as a contributor and have been publishing articles ever since.
I’ve also been privileged to partake in some great opportunities through NAB’s volunteering program. Through this program I have been able to help some of our customers by running an environmental sustainability audit, as well as facilitating a fun team-building workshop.
What are you passionate about?
Giving my time and energy to non-profit organisations has seen me join the board of a local youth unemployment organisation and advisory committees with Bush Heritage Australia, as well as my local city council. In between work, family and volunteering, I’m an avid hiker and I’m always thinking of the next mountain range to conquer.
