He’s been making his customers feel appreciated for ten years.
Name: Ingrid Kurniawan
Your role: Business Banking Manager
Region: Dandenong South, Victoria
What’s your story?
I grew up in a small town in Indonesia called Bandung. The opportunity arose for me to come to Australia when my family and I were discussing how and where I would complete my studies. The idea of completing my studies in a foreign country without my friends and family close by was definitely daunting, however I wanted to challenge myself and I managed to complete my degree in Accounting and Finance and even went on to finish my MBA. After graduating, I felt a great sense of accomplishment and I was proud of what I could achieve.
How have you made a difference?
There have been a few things that I have noticed since working with our business customers each day. Our customers value efficient service, effective communication and when their needs are understood. Customers appreciate your service whether you have helped them with a query on small transaction all the way to multi-million dollar business or property purchases. A recent example of how we helped a business customer is when we took on a relationship from another financier. After coming across to NAB the customer explained how NAB’s financing structure and online platform had saved them both money and time. The time saved on completing tedious banking tasks enabled them to instead focus on running their business.
What are you passionate about?
Growing up my instrument of choice was piano and I now spend my Sundays playing at a local church. Two years ago I joined a Crossfit gym and I haven’t looked back since. Recently, I have taken an interest in Hot Pilates and so it may not come as a surprise to you that my recent searches on Pinterest are all around macro bowl recipes!
