Playing with his cats, Linkin and Charlie, following the Collingwood FC and drinking good coffee are Kieran's favourite past-times.
Name: Kate Clarke
Your role: Agribusiness Analyst
Region: Narrogin, Western Australia
What’s your story?
Prior to working at NAB, I worked at stock camps on cattle stations in remote northern Australia. I’m grateful for my experience in agriculture because it gave me strength, resilience, the ability to think outside the box, compassion and community spirit to become a banker with a real passion for regional customers.
How have you made a difference?
I support the community that I live in, which in turn is the community that supports the branch that I work in. I shop local, play sport for local clubs, pay rates to the local Shire and I volunteer for several community groups, including Auskick as our local football clubs are the heart and soul of our community. NAB’s relationship with Auskick provides many benefits to towns just like mine; these benefits may be difficult to measure but are enormously valued. Being physically present in our regional communities helps us to back the bold who move Australia forward.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about keeping rural towns and communities alive and vibrant. They are our food bowl and a huge part of our sustainable future. They provide us with a work life balance that cannot be compared to the city as we live and work in the communities that we call home.
