She’s passionate about supporting young people
Name: Katrina Scrivens
Your role: Banking Advisor, Home Loans
Region: Coolangatta, Queensland
What’s your story?
I have been with NAB since 2004 and I haven’t looked back. I started out as a temporary Teller in NSW and then transferred to Queensland. I have been fortunate to work in various roles across the organisation, building on my experience and knowledge along the way. Starting at NAB has been one of the best things to happen to me. I love the outdoors and have always been a keen gardener, and I enjoy playing golf. In the last three years I moved to the Gold Coast where my partner and I decided to do our Bronze Medallion with a local Surf Club and now we are active Volunteer Life Savers.
How have you made a difference?
With parents in business and myself as well, it has certainly helped me to understand our customers better and to make sure they are looked after just as I would like to be if I was in their shoes. It’s very rewarding to see a customer who may be purchasing their first home or investment property actually achieve their dreams and be there every step of the way.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about my customers, making sure I look after them as I would expect to be. I also like to challenge myself, which is why I did my Bronze Medallion in Surf Life Savers, and now love helping out with young ones in Nippers as Water Safety on Sunday Mornings. I also like to travel, as there is so much to see and learn from visiting different countries.
