What’s your story?
NAB has had a significant impact on my life – my grandfather worked at NAB for 44 years and I will notch up 25 years this year! NAB has provided me with wonderful opportunities and more particularly allowed me to meet so many great people; customers and employees alike. Over the years, I have cherry picked qualities I see in these people to mould myself into the best banker and risk professional I can be. Even today, I continue to be driven by the values I hold dear to my heart and those of NAB to ensure I obtain the right outcomes for our customers.
How have you made a difference?
For most of my career, I have been servicing our Small and Medium business customers, whether it be assisting them as they start up, helping them grow to the next stage or navigating through some tough times. This experience has proven valuable in undertaking my role as a risk SME within the Business Lending Customer Journey and other related work.
Customer Journeys is a dynamic environment where the desire to make banking simpler for our customers and bankers is infectious. Our customers overwhelmingly tell us that obtaining a business loan takes too long and I know at least half this of time is spent on the credit process. Good progress has been made and I will continue to help further develop a simpler credit process and intuitive tools so that a credit decision can be obtained more quickly. This means our customers can spend more time on what is important to them and their business.
What are you passionate about?
Whilst NAB plays an important part in my life nothing means more to me than my wife and three daughters, so you will often see me down at the netball courts keeping score or taking them along to watch our beloved Carlton Blues!
