The 15 most expensive eligible transactions are free each month. You will only be charged for banker assisted deposit or withdrawals, EBD, CDM, ECD or cheque transactions once you have exceeded the 15 free eligible transactions.

Banker assisted transactions

Charged for each deposit or withdrawal processed by a banker over the counter at a NAB Branch or at an Australia Post Office. Plus an additional $3 for each cheque lodged for deposit.

How to apply

If you’re a sole trader or have up to two directors in your company, apply online for a NAB Business Everyday Account in just 15 minutes.

If your business is a trust, partnership or has more than two directors, you can apply online or at your nearest branch.

Eligibility to apply online

  • You are a sole trader or have up to two directors in your company.

  • You have a valid ABN/ACN and address details for all directors.

  • You have two of the following ID documents: Australian passport, Australian driver’s licence, Medicare card.

What to expect after you apply

  1. Once we've verified your identity, you’ll get an SMS with your NAB ID.

  2. You'll receive an email with your account details.

  3. Register for NAB Internet Banking (using your NAB ID) to start using your account.

Closing your account

You or any other authorised person can request to close your account by visiting a NAB branch, calling our contact centre, contacting your banker or by providing written notice. There may be certain circumstances in which we are unable to immediately close your account, and in these cases we may request further information from you.
