Choose a device

Follow these steps to create a unique PayID, which could be your mobile number, email address or ABN. If you want to edit, transfer, lock or close your PayID, you can do this in the desktop version of NAB Internet Banking.

iOS

    Log into the NAB app on your device.

    Tap More in the bottom menu.

    Tap Settings.

    Tap Payments.

    In the list, tap View and create PayIDs.

    Tap Continue.

    Under Account, select an account to link.

    Select the account you want to create a PayID for.

    Under PayID, select a PayID type.

    Select the PayID type you want from the list.

    Enter the correct details for your PayID.

    Under PayID Name, select a PayID name.

    Select one from the list to help people identify who they are paying.

    Review all details and tap Create PayID.

    Your PayID is successfully created.

Android

    Select the account you want to create a PayID for.

    Tap PayID, and select a PayID type.

    Enter the correct details for your PayID.

    Tap PayID Name, and select a name from the list to help people identify who they are paying.

    Review all details and tap Create PayID.

    Enter the verification code

  • Complete

    Your PayID is successfully created.

Desktop

    Step 1

    Enter your 8 to 10-digit user ID, and your password. Then select Login.

    Select Profile & Settings in the top menu. Select ‘PayID Settings’ from the drop-down menu.

    Select Create PayID.

    Read and accept the PayID Terms of Use, tick the check box, then select Next.

    Select an eligible account to create a PayID for.

  • 6

    Choose the type of PayID (email address or mobile number). Businesses can also select their ABN.

    Enter the correct details for the selected PayID type. To confirm the PayID is available, select Check availability

    Select your PayID name from the options below to help people identify who they’re paying, then select Next.

    Step 9

    We’ll send a security code to your mobile phone or email.  Enter the code and select Submit.

  • 10

    Step 10

    You have now created your PayID. 

  • Complete

    To modify PayID details, select Update. Update Status to lock, close or transfer the PayID to another account.
