Verify your ID online with InfoTrackID

InfoTrackID is a trusted electronic verification service used by NAB. You may be asked to complete this process when you apply for a new NAB product. InfoTrackID allows you to complete identity verification with your smartphone using biometric facial recognition and document scanning. It helps you to verify your identity quickly, remotely and at a time convenient for you.

What you need to use InfoTrackID

When using InfoTrackID, you’ll need your smartphone and identity documents.

Acceptable documents include:

• Australian passport
• Australian driver licence
• Foreign passport
• Australian Government issued photo ID.

InfoTrackID is secure and private

InfoTrackID is designed to comply with regulatory requirements such as those set by ARNECC (Australian Registrars' National Electronic Conveyancing Council) in relation to customer identification.

• Biometric and identity data is encrypted and stored securely.
• Designed to comply with the Australian Privacy Act including the Australian Privacy Principles.
• Users will give explicit consent before biometric and identity data is collected.

How to use InfoTrackID

The InfoTrackID Verification of Identity (VOI) process involves the following key steps.

1. You’ll receive an email with a link to the InfoTrackID portal. This link prompts you to login with a One-Time Password (OTP) sent via SMS.
2. You’ll be prompted to proceed with the verification process. 
3. Upload the required identification documents through the InfoTrackID portal. 
4. Once the documents are uploaded and verified, the Verification of Identity (VOI) status will be updated. You’ll be notified if any additional steps are required.
