Benefits and features

Access to additional money

  • Your Personal Overdraft is attached to your everyday account and allows you to withdraw more money than you have in your account, up to an approved limit.
  • Apply for a limit as low as $500.

Have a safety net

  • Flexibility for those times you might require additional funds.
  • Personal Overdrafts can be helpful when cash flow is low, or when unexpected events arise; helping to pay for essentials such as groceries, cover utility and medical bills or even pay rent.
  • No set repayments, and you'll only pay interest on the funds you have used.

Use your overdraft if and when you need it

  • Additional funds can be accessed like you normally would – by withdrawing cash at ATMs and making purchases using your NAB Visa Debit card or NAB Debit card.
  • You can also continue to transfer from your account through NAB Internet Banking, the NAB App and NAB Telephone Banking.
