As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic evolves, our focus is clear – to continue to support you with your financial needs in any way we can. We know this is an extremely difficult time for many of our merchants and we want you to know that we’re here to help. We’ll get through this together.

Small and medium merchants

We’ve extended the automatic waive of your merchant terminal rental fees and minimum merchant service fees which commenced in April, until the end of July. This means you’ll continue to only pay for the transactions that you process.

Merchants on a monthly package

We have also extended the automatic replacement of your monthly package fee with a per transaction fee which commenced in April, until the end of July. This means you’ll only pay for the transactions that you process. Your per transaction fee will be the same fee that currently applies to transactions over your monthly card turnover. You should see these changes in your July merchant statement.

Merchant support for Victoria’s extended lockdown

We’re automatically extending our COVID-19 merchant support through to the end of August. This waiver will appear on your July and August statements, with your other transaction fees and charges remaining the same.

If you have already had fee relief provided for your merchant facility, this will continue. NAB will monitor the Covid-19 situation as it progresses and may extend the relief package if needed.
