How to add Unified Checkout to NAB Gateway

Unified Checkout with NAB Gateway provides you with a single interface that can be presented on your eCommerce website. It allows you to simplify your integration and accept a number of payment methods, including:

• Manual card entry
• Digital Wallet payments (including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Click to Pay)

To set up Unified Checkout on your website, you need to follow these steps:

1. Login to NAB Gateway (learn how to login to NAB Gateway if unsure).
2. From the left navigation panel, select ‘Payment Configuration’.
3. Select ‘Unified Checkout’.
4. Click ‘Set up’.
5. Configure your preferred payment methods.
6. Integrate onto your website.

Is there a surcharging/differential fee available via Unified Checkout?  

No. Surcharging/differential fee functionality is no longer available via Unified Checkout. These changes took effect on 1 October 2026. For more information, visit RBA Surcharging Changes.
