BECS migration and what it means for you - NAB

What’s changing?

BECS (Bulk Electronic Clearing System) is a system that facilitates Direct Debit and Direct Credit payments. These payment types are now progressively transitioning to Fast Payments to support a wind down of the BECS system over approximately the next five years. 

Alternative payment products for businesses making Direct Debit and Direct Credit payments, as well as using Business Payables Service, Allocated EFT, and NBFI products are now available to support this transition.
