What is the extended cut-off time service?

Extended Cut-Off Time means the time after the cut-off time by which we must receive your payment instruction for it to be processed on that business day.

No additional fees apply for transferring between this time.

What is the cut-off time for NAB Business Markets Loan redraws and repayments?

Linked Account Transfers from or to a NAB Business Markets Loan must be submitted and authorised by 7:58pm (AEST/AEDT) on a business day.

    BPAY Payments

When will a Biller receive my BPAY payment?

If you make a BPAY payment before the specified cut-off time on a business day, we’ll send the payment details to the biller’s bank on the same day. The biller is required (under BPAY rules) to treat your payment as being received that same day as well.

Payments made after the specified cut-off time will usually be treated as being received by the biller on the next business day. The time that it takes for the biller’s account to actually be credited will depend on the policy and systems of the biller’s bank’.

Can I create a domestic or BPAY payment after the cut-off time?

Yes, if you are happy for it to be processed on a later day. You will simply need to nominate a future business day for the payment to be processed (up to 90 days in advance).

  • Can I create an international payment after the cut-off time?

Yes, you can create an international payment after the cut-off time if you are happy for it to be processed on a later day. You will simply need to nominate a future business day for the payment to be processed (up to 10 days in advance). Please note: International payments using ‘Real Time Rate’ cannot be created after the cut-off time.

What is the cut-off time for International Payments that have been Refinanced under a Trade Facility?

When Refinance is selected as the option to settle an International Payment there is additional processing required which requires the International Payment request to be created, approved and submitted to NAB 1 hour earlier than the International Payment cut off times mentioned in the table below. Cut off times for Refinance International Payments.
