How to recognise, avoid and report scams

The aim of SCAMwatch is to provide information to consumers and small businesses about how to recognise, avoid and report scams. It's run by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) and is the campaign portal for the Australasian Consumer Fraud Taskforce.

The following was prepared by the taskforce as part of scam awareness month and is designed to help you protect yourself from scams.
