|Variable speed drives (VSDS)||All VSDs installed where no VSD was previously operating.|
|Industrial and commercial refrigeration||Projects involving new equipment and may include reconfiguration of existing equipment, which results in at least 10% less energy consumed. This may include savings associated with the waste heat capture elements of the project.|
|Heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)||Projects involving replacement of old commercial HVAC with new equipment that results in at least 10% less energy consumed.|
|Power factor correction (PFC)||Projects that improve the power factor so that it will be above a ratio of 0.9.|
|Rooftop solar PV||Technologies that meet Australian Standards.|
|Solar thermal including solar hot water and heat pumps||Equipment that is on the Register for Small-Scale Renewable Energy Scheme. Any technologies not assessed for SRES (e.g. newer solar thermal technologies should be referred to the CEFC for consideration). For further information on air source heat pump models, solar water heater models with a capacity of less than or more than 700L, please refer to the register of solar water heaters.
