Statements and transactions

You can create customised transaction reports, which can be dated. And access up to 18 months’ worth of transaction and account balance history on all business accounts and credit cards. You can also access 7 years’ worth of statements relating to any account you link to NAB Connect.

Your transaction history and account balance summaries for all your NAB accounts are updated regularly. For any other overseas financial institution accounts the information displayed will depend on the nominated information cycle with the overseas financial institution.

The default transaction history and report view will always default to the previous business day’s transactions on all accounts. If you want to view a greater history of daily transactions, you can do so via the Filter function.

All transaction reports can be exported to PDF format. You can also export transaction information from NAB Connect to import into your ERP system.

Remember that information can change at any time, and must be compared with your account statement.

Compatible file formats

NAB Connect supports different file formats.
You can export the following:

  • CSV format (for use with Microsoft® Excel and Lotus® 1-2-3)
  • QIF version 6 (for use in Quicken® version 6 or earlier)
  • QIF version 7+ (for use in Quicken® version 7 or later, Microsoft® Money and MYOB® version 2002 or later).

If an item is exchanged on a business day,its image will be available to view on NAB Connect from 7am (AEST/AEDT) the next week day (excluding public holidays) or 8am(AEST/AEDT)on Saturdays.

Transaction History and Account Summary

Your transaction history and account summaries for all domestic AUD accounts and NAB Foreign Currency Accounts are updated regularly.

Stop a cheque

The Stop Cheque service is available from 7:30am-11:30pm (Melbourne time) every business day. You won’t be able to place a stop request outside of these hours.

View Statements online

You are able to view up to 7 years’ bank issued statements for any account or merchant facility you link to NAB Connect.

Business account statements will be available to be viewed on the business day following the date of issuance.  Merchant statements are issued on the last business day of the month and will be available to view within 2 business days of issuance.
