Link your new bank account to your choice of two NAB Visa Debit cards. You'll be able to choose which card you'd like as part of your NAB Classic Banking account application.
Getting started if you’re new to NAB
1: Complete your application
Apply online for a NAB Classic Banking account.
2: Download the NAB app
For first time login, enter your 8 to 10-digit NAB ID and password and tap Login.
3: Start using your account
Once you’ve added money to your account, add your NAB Visa Debit card to your digital wallet to start spending straight away.

A daily transfer limit applies to each NAB ID when making certain online payments in NAB Internet Banking or the NAB App. There’s no limit when transferring between your own accounts.
If you need to increase or decrease your limit, you can make limit updates in NAB Internet Banking, or by getting in contact with us.
Daily cash withdrawals are limited to $2,000 per card, per day. This includes ATM withdrawals and withdrawals made at an EFTPOS terminal (e.g. taking cash out at the supermarket), and applies to all NAB Visa Debit cards and NAB Platinum Visa Debit cards. If you need to withdraw a larger amount, you’ll need to visit a NAB branch.

Yes, you’ll still have access to your account when overseas through NAB Internet Banking or the NAB App. You can also use your linked NAB Visa Debit card for purchases and ATM withdrawals. Before you travel, make sure to notify us of your travel plans.

No, the NAB Classic Banking account doesn’t earn any interest. If you’re looking to earn interest and grow your balance, consider our savings accounts.
